Embroidered Patches / Badges
Embroidery is an elegant and stylish way to decorate or
customise any patch by forming decorative designs with computerised machine
needlework.
The digitized image is saved on disk and loaded to the
embroidery machine. The machine uses the digital instructions to create your
design with threads.
The number of stitches that the machine needs to make, the
quantity of items being embroidered, and the location of the embroidery
determines the embroidery cost.
Any design that will need more than just keyboard
lettering will have to be digitized.
Digitizing is the process of taking an image of your logo
and converting into stitches using specialized software developed especially for
the embroidery industry.
However, there is a limitation we would like our customers
to be aware of: text or important graphic detail on your logo must be larger
than 5mm tall or wide.
Ways to change and improve design dimensions include:
- Change Lower case lettering into Uppercase,
- Eliminate some of the letters or place the letters on 2 or more lines,
- Arc the lettering around the logo.

Woven Cloth Patches
Woven badges are a
perfect alternative if your emblem cannot be accurately embroidered due to very
fine detail or small lettering.

Printed Cloth Patches
Colour printed badges are another alternative if your emblem cannot be accurately
reproduced in process of embroidery or woven method e.g. due to requirement of
achieving full (processed) colour image.
They are available also available in just about any shape. Just like
embroidered/woven patches, the border of badge may be diecut or overlocked..
These woven patches
will have 100% print coverage with cloth background structure showing.

Custom Made Cloth Badges / Patches
Orders:
Our minimums for most orders are 10 pieces/patches. Our
usual turn-around time from design approval to delivery is approximately 2-3
weeks.
Those not familiar with sourcing a custom embroidered
patch order should understand there are a variety of factors and information you
need to provide to us before a quote can be provided. These factors include:
1) the dimensions of the patch (length x width)
2) number of patches required (minimum of 10 for most
orders)
3) a digital graphic file or hand sketch
4) type of backing: none, plastic, iron-on, Velcro,
other...
5) the finishing of the patch edge: merrow sewn border,
hot-knife, other...
